Class & Practice Questions

  • Yes! Please register for your class in advance so we know you’re coming. This helps us prepare the space and ensure everyone has room to practice comfortably.

  • At Space & Grace, we offer a variety of yoga and wellness classes for all levels. Our offerings include:

    • Beginner Beginner: When we say it twice, you know it’s a beginner class! Perfect for those new to yoga or looking for a gentle introduction.

    • Space & Grace Flow: One of our signature classes, blending breath, movement, and mindful sequencing for a balanced, full-body experience.

    • Gentle & Restorative Yoga: Slow-paced classes perfect for relaxation and recovery.

    • Mat Pilates & Strength: Focused on building core strength, stability, and alignment.

    • Specialty Workshops: Breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness practices to enhance your overall well-being.

    • Seasonal & Community Classes: Pop-ups, themed flows, and events that inspire connection and shared experiences.

  • Signing up for classes at Space & Grace is easy! You can:

    1. Book online: Visit our class schedule page and select the class you’d like to join.

    2. Sign in to your account: Log in to reserve your spot and manage your bookings.

    3. Drop-in in person: If space allows, you can always sign up at the studio before class.

    We recommend reserving your spot in advance to ensure you don’t miss out. Looking forward to seeing you on the mat!

    • Remove your shoes: Please take off your shoes upon entering.

    • Arrive a little early: This gives you time to check in, get settled, and ask any questions.

    • Bring what you need: Your mat (or use one of ours), water, and an open mind!

    • Relax and follow along: Our teachers will guide you through each pose, and modifications are always offered for all levels.

    • No pressure: Focus on your own experience—yoga is about your journey, not perfection.

  • Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. Layers are great for adjusting to temperature changes, and bare feet are standard in the studio.

  • You’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you have one! If not, we have mats available at the studio for use during class. We also provide props like blocks, straps, and blankets to support your practice.

  • Life can throw unexpected curveballs! If a class is cancelled, a credit will automatically be added to your account. You can use this credit toward a future class at your convenience.

  • To support a calm and uninterrupted practice for everyone, we encourage you to arrive a few minutes early. This gives you time to check in, set up your space, and settle in so you can ease into the practice smoothly.

  • For class packs and drop-ins, if you cancel at least 2 hours before class, a credit will be added to your account. If you don’t cancel in time, the class will be marked as taken. Drop-ins do not expire and can be used for any future class.

  • Space & Grace is a cashless studio. Please register and pay for your classes online through your account, or set up a new account here.

  • To create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone:

    • Shoes: Please remove your shoes upon entering. Absolutely no shoes are allowed in the practice space.

    • Cell phones: Silence your phone before class to keep the space peaceful and focused.

    • Belongings: We are not responsible for personal items, but you’re welcome to store them in our cubbies.

    Thank you for helping us maintain a calm, clean, and supportive environment.

Membership & Payment Questions

  • To update your payment method, log in to your Space & Grace Momence account and go to My Account → Save Payment Methods. From there, you can add or update your credit card or bank information.

  • Memberships are automatically billed on a monthly basis. You can view upcoming charges and manage your billing through your online account. If you’d like to request a change to your billing date, please email heal@spaceandgrace.studio.

  • Please provide at least 30 days notice to cancel your membership. This ensures your account is closed properly and no further payments are taken. You can notify us by emailing heal@spaceandgrace.studio.

  • Yes! Some memberships may be eligible for a temporary hold for up to 2 months. Please reach out to discuss options and we’ll help set it up: heal@spaceandgrace.studio.

  • Monthly membership holders are allowed 1 guest pass per quarter to share the Space & Grace experience with a friend.

  • Memberships are linked to the individual and cannot be transferred or shared with another person.

  • If you’re new to Space & Grace, we recommend starting with one of the options below, depending on how often you plan to practice:

    All memberships are monthly and require a 30-day cancellation notice.

Studio & Community Questions

  • Street parking is available on Greene Street, Tulpehocken Street and Walnut Lane. Guest should adhere to the City of Philadelphia’s parking and street signs; including but not limited to double parking and parking on the sidewalk.  Space & Grace is not responsible for parking and/or moving violations.

  • The main practice space is on street level. There is a restroom inside the studio on the upper floor, but please note that we cannot guarantee conditions in the street-level restroom, which is outside of our studio space.

  • Yes! We regularly host special workshops, themed flows, and community events designed to deepen your practice and connect with others. Keep an eye on our events page or subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss anything!

  • No worries! If you leave something behind, please contact us - 267.476.4787. Please note that the studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Yes! Space & Grace offers studio rentals for wellness practitioners, creatives, and community gatherings when the space is available. Rentals are ideal for classes, workshops, meetings, photoshoots, and special events that align with our values.

Health & Safety Questions

  • Many of our classes can be adapted for pregnancy (pre- or postnatal), post-surgery recovery, or other special conditions. Please text us at 267.476.4787 to let us know which class you plan to attend, and/or arrive a few minutes early to inform your teacher before class so they can offer appropriate modifications and support a safe, comfortable practice. We also recommend avoiding heated classes in these situations.

  • Your health and the health of our community are important to us. If you’re feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you rest at home and skip class until you’re feeling better. This helps keep our space safe and supportive for everyone.

  • Masks are optional at Space & Grace. We encourage you to follow whatever makes you feel safe and comfortable while practicing. Our team maintains a clean, welcoming environment for all students.

  • Yes, there are security cameras in select areas of the studio. These are in place solely for the safety and security of our community and space.

    Cameras are not used to monitor or record classes, and there are no cameras in the restrooms.
